“Will You Trust Me Even If You Don’t Understand Or Can’t See What I’m Doing?”

This is a prophetic word from The Holy Spirit that will bless you tremendously!

Will you trust God if you’re being led in ways that may seem peculiar or drastically different from the normal way of doing things?  Will you trust God if His will clashes with your personal plans, wars against your physical desires, conflicts with your natural thinking, defies your human logic or even challenges your existing faith?

This is a prophetic word that NO BELIEVER SHOULD BE WITHOUT!

“Are You Ready To Take The Elevator To The Top?”

Today’s Daily Devotional from Pastor Andrew Bills

Are You Ready To Take The Elevator To The Top?”

Are you aware that a great change of scenery is required through an elevation process in order for you to hear from God and experience changes in your life?

The other night, The Holy Spirit awakened me from my sleep at midnight as He spoke a prophetic word to my heart.   He said, “Tell my people to come up higher where they will see things differently and receive from Me.”

As I meditated on this word from The Lord, Revelation Chapter 4:1 immediately came to my attention and likened to an elevator in a high-rise office building.

Revelation 4: 1 NLT says, “Then as I looked, I saw a door standing open in heaven, and the same voice I had heard before spoke to me like a trumpet blast. The voice said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after this.”

The Apostle John had been exiled on the Isle of Patmos but instead of dying from his imprisonment, he continued to worship The Lord and would not allow the deplorable circumstances keep him down.

Suddenly, The Apostle John receives a vision of Christ and is directed to write seven letters to the seven churches.

Then, having seen the glorified Christ and having written the seven letters to the seven churches, John sees an open door into heaven and hears a voice summoning him up to a higher elevation in order for him to receive a special revelation.

Upon this elevation, John was permitted to look upon the throne of God and was given a complete view of things from the first to the last.  Then he was instructed to write, in order to bring encouragement to the persecuted church and to show unto the people of God, the things that “must be” as decreed by God.

Suddenly all of this was “spiritually likened” to an elevator in a high-rise office building.

Have you ever realized that an elevator is completely full as people get on at the ground floor but the higher it rises, the thinner the elevator becomes?

There’s a sacrifice to make and a price to pay to go up higher.

On the lower level, you’ll find the mail room.  But, if you want to be elevated, you’ll have to begin to do something that others usually don’t want to do to be promoted.

Exerted efforts, hard work, longer hours, education, and training, along with constant ridicule from those who want to remain on the ground floor, are a part of your experience as you advance upward to a higher level.

On the top floor, the president and the senior executives meet to make corporate plans for the direction and financial success of the firm.

As you go higher, you’ll see things differently from being on the street level and position yourself to receive greater inspiration, revelation, instruction, wisdom and guidance from The Holy Spirit of God.

As you go higher, you’ll begin to see what others cannot see.  The things you’ll be called to do will be viewed as foolish, illogical and unpractical by those remaining on the ground floor.   God may even instruct you to do things that your very own intellect or flesh might question, but you’re constantly learning that obedience to Christ always results in the miraculous.

So, why is it that many won’t continue higher?   While everyone is called to come up higher, many are content and comfortable being on the ground floor or lower level, fearful of the changes in life-style, character and attitude that the higher elevation would bring.

Then there are others who want to go higher but they don’t do anything to be elevated upwards and taken there.  They talk a good talk but won’t make the commitment and walk the walk to get there.

Christ is calling you to come up higher, are you ready to go?

“Have You Experienced The Transforming Power Of The Holy Spirit?”

Have You Experienced The Transforming Power Of The Holy Spirit?”

The disciples of Jesus Christ were just ordinary men.  While they all left their occupations to follow Jesus, the gospel stories reveal just how weak, confused, argumentative, fearful and doubtful they all were even as they followed The Lord.

But within weeks after the resurrection of Jesus Christ, exactly on the day of Pentecost, their lives were forever dramatically changed.  Not by reading self-help books, attending motivational seminars or participating in any 12 step programs to get rid of any bad habits.  They were all filled with The Holy Ghost!!!

In Acts 1:8, just before His Ascension, Jesus said, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and in Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

Their lives were not changed by the mere mental remembrance of Jesus’ earlier words to them, NO!!!   The same Lord and power that once walked among them, NOW DWELT WITHIN AND UPON THEM!!!    With His living words ever burning now within their hearts.

No longer weak, fearful, confused or doubtful, they now spoke with the same power, in the same Spirit and with the same authority that was in the earthly ministry of Jesus Himself.    They had seen Him crucified and buried, but they also saw Him in His resurrected body and then ascend into Heaven.  Now they no longer knew Him after the flesh but were filled and empowered by His Spirit, just like He had promised.

Now when talked about, misunderstood, lied upon and even threatened, they boldly stood preaching the resurrection of Jesus and the grace of God.  They rejoiced in the midst of suffering, believed in the power of prayer, received visions, experienced divine encounters with Christ and kept the scriptures in front of them.

As a result of their transformation and obedience, sinners were being saved, demons were cast out, the sick were healed, they shared their resources with one another, widows were cared for, the weak were strengthened, the church grew daily by the thousands and the very foundation of the Roman Empire and world were shaken to the core by the preaching of the gospel of Christ.

Throughout their ministries, even when they later traveled their separate ways as led by The Lord, they never recanted, denied or renounced their faith in Jesus Christ and continued preaching the gospel, leading many to God.  As a result, many of them suffered violent deaths by stoning, hanging, beheading, burning, stabbing and dying on crosses upside down.

While they were not criminals, the world was not worthy of their lives and the lives of their converts of whom many also died violent deaths at the evil hand of Caesar.  But they all looked beyond their suffering, to an Eternal Kingdom with our Glorified King.

Was their faith more real that ours today?  How far are you willing to go for Jesus?

With the exception of some 3rd world or hostile religious countries, few of us face the same type of persecution as the early Christians did.  But despite our freedom to worship and believe in our Lord, there is now growing opposition to deny, resist, reject and even rebel against the Church and the teachings of Jesus Christ.

So if Christianity were outlawed today and you knew you would be arrested and put in prison for worshipping or sharing your faith in Jesus, Would You?”

“Are You Going To Church But Returning Home The Same Way?”

Today’s Daily Devotional from Pastor Andrew Bills

a sad heart 3

Are You Going To Church But Returning Home The Same Way?”

Do you have questions that need real answers?  Are you in need of a fresh revelation from The Lord?    Are you praying but not seeing answers?  Do you want to see the power of God moving in your life?

Experiencing the grace and power of God is MUCH MORE than just routinely attending a religious service, sitting in a church pew, clapping your hands to the beat of the praise music or saying an occasional “Amen” as the pastor preaches.

The Word of God is The Power of God Through Christ Jesus.  The same Word that became flesh through the incarnation is very real today through His resurrection. And today, Jesus still saves, forgives, delivers, heals, provides for, comforts, enables and strengthens.  DO YOU KNOW AND BELIEVE HIM?

In Acts 8:26-40, we are given an amazing story in which The Holy Spirit goes into great detail to tell us about a man returning home unsatisfied about his religious experience and was still hungry for the truth.

Returning from the Jewish worship services in Jerusalem, he sat reading a scroll of Isaiah 53: 7-8, with a great desire to know more.  There was still a void in his heart as he left, but God went into action on the dusty road as he was on his way back home.

Philip, who was one of the original deacons selected to serve tables in the church, was now mightily being used by God to evangelize the region by preaching Jesus Christ.

Philip, who wasn’t told what to expect, was being divinely guided to go to a desert road as The Lord was supernaturally controlling the events.  So upon arrival, he found this Ethiopian Eunuch of great authority sitting in his chariot reading.

When Philip appeared, the Ethiopian Eunuch didn’t question Philip about who he was or where he’d come from.  He needed something else, ANSWERS!   Answers that only God could supply.

So a man of God, full of The Word of God, anointed with The Spirit of God was being used to preach Jesus Christ.

God had gone and still goes to great lengths for you to know and experience Him.  The only question that remains is “Are you willing to allow Christ to impact your life through His Word and Holy Spirit?”

In Acts 8:30-31 NASB, the Bible says, “Philip ran up and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?” And he said, “Well, how could I, unless someone guides me?” And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.

Philip did more than just interpret this portion of scripture, HE PREACHED JESUS to this eunuch.  He didn’t offer any religious philosophy, church traditional views or new age doctrine.  HE PREACHED THE RESURRECTED AND ASCENDED JESUS CHRIST!

God knows who you are, where you are and what you need most.  If you give Him all of yourself, He will give you all of Himself.

“Is your heart hungry for Him?” What is it that you’re missing or lacking?   What do you need from The Lord?  What void do you have that needs to be filled? What emptiness are you experiencing that needs to be satisfied?  What do you need from The Living Christ?

Christ, through His Word and Holy Spirit, wants to move in your heart and life and orchestrate in your affairs.  Will you walk with Him and allow God to do something gracious and amazing that only He can do.

The Jews of that day believed that eunuchs were prohibited from coming into the assembly of God’s people because they were regarded as ritually impure according to Lev. 21: 20 and 22: 19-25.   But Isaiah had prophesied that one day eunuchs would be allowed into the assembly of God’s people in Isaiah 56: 3-5, and that prophecy was fulfilled here in Acts.

So when the eunuch saw there was water near, he asked Philip to baptize him and after making his confession to Christ, Philip didn’t hesitate to baptize him.

Finally, upon returning back to his chariot, he wasn’t troubled that Philip was snatched away by The Spirit of God and it didn’t seem to bother him.  For he now had come to experience the Risen Christ and kept on rejoicing as he went on his way back home.

Daily Devotional – A Personal Note From Pastor Andrew

Personal

bible 5

To All Readers, Listeners, Viewers, Christian Friends, Family, Pastors  & Bishops

On this past Wednesday, 8-14-13 The Lord wonderfully touched and healed my body in a beautiful way.

Bishop Baron Alas had came to be the guest preacher on my TV & Internet Broadcast on Wednesday.   He had also invited other Pastors and Bishops to come and listen and also participate in the broadcast.

The presence of God’s Holy Spirit was strong and very presence in the church building, before the videotaping, during the one hour program and even after the programming.

The gift of prophesy was greatly in demonstrating as special words were shared and revealed in our very midst.

Other than my wife, Ann Marie, nobody….  I absolutely mean “NOBODY” other than The Lord knew that, even as I have been conducting all my ministry activities, I have been standing in faith for the manifestation of healing in my body from a condition that was leaving me drained and exhausted especially with sleepless nights.

Suddenly, one of the visiting pastors, Pastor Michael Hodges from New Height’s Ministries in Rialto, California spoke that God wanted me healed of:  “And he named the exact or precise condition that I had been suffering with.”   Again, nobody, I mean NOBODY knew it but me, my wife and The Lord Jesus Christ.

Bishop Alas, Pastor Hodges and all of the other wonderful spirit-led pastors and bishop all laid their hands and me and The Living Lord, through The Power of His Holy Spirit, miraculously healed me.   “Needless to say that we had “Church after the Church Service.”   PRAISE THE LORD!!!

I wanted to share with all of you that The Lord is still very real in our world today, His Word is still our sure foundation and He’s moving mightily by His Holy Spirit.

Have Faith In God and don’t be moved by the appearances of things that are surrounding you.  BE LED AND MOVED BY GOD!

And know that He is always faithful to His Promises and He’s orchestrating in your very midst, even right now…..    So, Have Faith In God!

We will all be re-gathering again this coming Wednesday 8-21-13 at 11am at my church location for another ministry and videotaping session and all are welcome to come.  But if you can’t attend, please send a prayer request as a reply email, so we can lift you up in prayer.

Yours In Christ,

Daily Devotional – “How Dependent On God Are You?”

Today’s Daily Devotional from Pastor Andrew Bills

dependant on God 2

How Dependent On God Are You?”

To give more revelation to His words, and to help the believer understand the relationship of Christ to His believers, Christ presented the thought of what the vine is to the branches.

In John 15: 5 NIV Jesus said, “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”

The connection, association or union between the vine and the branch is “A LIVING ONE.” It is the union between the human soul and our divine Lord and Savior. He is the True Vine and we are His branches.

The branch is born and develops it’s life from the vine’s sap that flows into and energizes the branch that it may produce fruit or blossom. The life of the branch is solely based upon it’s attachment to the true and living vine. For if it lives, then the branches will also live. But without the vine, the branches are unable to stand.

The Lord used this parable not just to teach us but to invite us and to encourage us to “Live In Him.” So intimate is this connection between the vine and the branch that without the vine, the branch is nothing.

The life of God through Jesus Christ is through the “Living Sap” of The Holy Spirit. It’s through Him that we live, move and have our being. It’s through Him that we are given the power to live the Christian life, bring forth fruit and have the anointing to render a service for the Lord. We are totally dependent on Him, “For without Him, we can do nothing!”

Just like the roots of the tree are unseen, our life is hid in Christ Jesus. The roots cause the tree to grow and then sends sap through it, ultimately giving it’s life and strength to the branches.

All that the vine then possesses belongs to the branches.Jesus, in His prayer before God, said in John 17:22, “The glory which You gave Me, I have given them.”

Then the branch outwardly demonstrates the excellence of the vine by the fruit that it yields. The branch only has one reason to exist or one purpose for living: to produce and to blossom.

God, who is “The Husbandman or The Vine-dresser” is so watchful over His Vineyard that His Church can’t help but flourish and prosper even in this dark and evil world. The forces of darkness have tried and failed in every attempt to wreck, stop and destroy The Church of Jesus Christ, all without success because The Church is built on the solid foundation with Christ as it’s corner stone.

Jesus Christ is the True Vine, who will continue to ever nourish us, supply us, restore us and empower us to bring forth fruit abundantly.

As a branch of Jesus, are you resting in Him, waiting for Him, serving Him and living so that He may demonstrate and reveal the riches of His glory and grace before a dying world?

Daily Devotional – “Do You Believe That Someone Else Is Responsible For Your Situation?”

Today’s Daily Devotional from Pastor Andrew Bills

blaming others

Do You Believe That Someone Else Is Responsible For Your Situation?”

Casting the blame onto others or “passing the buck”is quite common in our world since the beginning of time.  It is a person’s fleshly, sinful and cowardly act of failing to take the responsibility for one’s very own wrongful act as they attempt to attribute it to another person or group.

History has revealed young people blaming their parents, and/or parents blaming their society for their lack of values or good upbringing.   Our political arena is in shambles because each party accuses one another instead of seeking a common ground for the benefit of all the people.

How many husbands have had affairs because they tried to blame their spouse for being cold, unloving or not able to satisfy their emotional or sexual needs.  Satan’s temptations are not only attractive but deceptive.  For the wages of sin is still death.

The rich blame the poor and the poor blame the rich for the ill conditions in our society.  Bigotry and gender bias is on the rise again as situations are about to re-ignite on the scene with everyone pointing the finger at the other person or group.   Then if that’s not enough,  recently in the news, a convicted murderer tried to blame his evil activities on the fast foods and pastries that he had earlier consumed!

Rather than holding yourself personally accountable and then seeking forgiveness, deliverance, healing and guidance, many attempt to cast the blame on others to ascribe or cover up their sins.  But God holds each individual personally responsible for their own disobedience, failures, sins and lack of faith.

The Lord has given you “the power of choice.”  Now as God seeks to influence your choice, Satan also seeks to influence your actions and decisions. God has created man to be a free moral agent, whose individual decisions will determine their destiny.   Such was the case back in the Garden of Eden.

God created Adam and Eve and placed them in a paradise environment with the simple instructions NOT to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for in the day they would, they would die.

Once Eve was tempted and ate the forbidden fruit she quickly turned to Adam and he, not weakened, impaired or deceived, immediately knowingly and deliberately ate of the same.    Adam plainly showed contempt for what God had done for him by placing a higher value on his relationship with his wife than on his relationship and communion with his creator.

Then Genesis 3:7 NIV says, “Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.”  Then they ran and tried to hide from God.

Then in Genesis 3:9, God calls out, “Adam, where are you?”    Adam and Eve did not manage to hide themselves in a place where God couldn’t see them, for where can you go to avoid His Presence?   NO, this indicates that God wanted them to bring themselves out as He came searching for those who were now lost.  But out of disobedience, they were now afraid of God’s holiness.  Before they sinned they welcomed God’s gracious visits with joy, but now he was a terror to them.

Their answers to God’s questions only revealed that neither was willing to accept that they had failed.  Adam no longer referred to Eve as “bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh” but now blamed God for her presence and actions.

Genesis 3: 12-13 NIV says, The man said, the woman you put here with me, she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”  Then the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

Adam and Eve both tried to excuse the sin by laying the blame and shame on others.  Satan may tempt, but he cannot force you to do anything contrary to your will.  He may suggest, persuade or entice you to sin but he cannot “make” you do it.  If his subtlety draws you into sin, then you must rightfully admit to your sinful activities.

When a child messes up and honestly comes and admits it, what loving parent would not forgive and embrace the child?  There may be a punishment, yes, but that only serves to strengthen the child’s character.  How much more will your loving Father in Heaven, who gave His only Son to die for your sins, embrace and love you?  The final question is, will you run  away from the Father’s immense loving forgiveness by trying to shift the blame, when He who knows all and sees all, already knows the truth?

Daily Devotional – “Did You Know That God Wants To Take You From Where You Are To Where You Need To Be?”

Today’s Daily Devotional from Pastor Andrew Bills

Renewing of our mind 1

Did You Know That God Wants To Take You From Where You Are To Where You Need To Be?”

God wants to broaden your horizons and take you from the “old and familiar” to a brand new level, but have you become so comfortable that you don’t want to move and go forward?    What’s holding you back today?

The Holy Spirit declared through The Apostle Paul in Romans 12: 2 NASB,Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

One of the greatest enemies of believers today is conformity to this world.  It’s you being overwhelmed with minding earthly things that instead of renewing your mind in God’s Word and walking in the Spirit, you’re operating in the flesh and not being effective for Christ.

I’ve met many believers that can tell you the complete history and current statistics of the many different athletes, but they can’t quote any scriptures or share Christ with anyone.  Then let the truth be told that “Normal Christian Living is considered abnormal by many of the folk that claim to be believers or by folks who just go to church somewhere.”

The word “Mind” is used 95 times in The Holy Bible which simply means the place of consciousness, perception, understanding, feeling, judging, reasoning, determining and choosing.  It’s the place where our thoughts are born, reside and then become action.  From that point our character is forged, shaped and outwardly manifested.

Once a sinner has been saved by Christ Jesus, it’s here that God wants to impact, renew and fill you with His Word that you might not sin against Him, grow in faith and learn to walk in the power of The Holy Spirit of God.

The mind is the heart, soul and center of your personality, decision making and your every action.  Again, it here that Christ wants to influence, but this responsibility is now yours because faith comes by hearing and is developed, nurtured and then becomes stronger through the consistent renewing of your mind in His Word.

The work of The Holy Spirit first begins in the understanding, then His Word effects the will, affections, conversation and actions until there is a change of the whole being into the image of Christ in knowledge, righteousness and holiness.  One cannot live godly unless there is a giving up of one’s self to Christ Jesus.

There’s no other way for this to happen.  There are no short-cuts that you can take.  Reading, studying and meditating in His Word is you spending time in His Presence, receiving inspiration directly from Him.

Through disciplined reading, studying, meditating and praying in the Holy Scriptures, several things will begin to happen within and around you.  You’ll begin to erase Satan’s false and negative programming of your fleshy mind, thereby crushing the devil’s control ability over you and your surroundings.

Through the on-going studying of The Bible you’ll increase your ability to obey God.  Obedience is your key to the intimate, supernatural, divine and miraculous hand of God moving in your life and orchestrating in your affairs.

It’s through the studying of God’s Word that you’ll see yourself being set-free from all past guilt and condemnation.  Then you’ll also be able to eliminate the success and effectiveness of their demonic attacks, entrapments and deceptions.

Through the renewing of your mind in God’s Word, you’ll receive guidance and direction for your life and walk in the anointing of The Holy Spirit of God.   There’s just so much more to the heavenly riches that are in Christ Jesus to all that will follow Him.

Many desire and want these things, but are you willing to deny yourself, pick up your cross and follow Jesus?

Daily Devotional – “What Effect Does Your Life Have On Others Around You?”

Today’s Daily Devotional from Pastor Andrew Bills

influencing others 3

What Effect Does Your Life Have On Others Around You?”

In a trial, a Southern small-town prosecuting attorney called his first witness, an elderly grandmother to the stand.  He then approached her and asked, “Mrs. Jones, do you know me?”  She responded, “Why, yes I know you.  I’ve known you since you were a boy and frankly you’ve been a big disappointment to me.  You lie, cheat on your wife, manipulate people and talk about them behind their backs. You think you’re a big shot when you haven’t the brains to realize you’ll never amount to anything more than a two-bit paper pusher. Yes, I know you.”

The lawyer was completely stunned as the room filled with laughter. Then not knowing what else to do, he pointed across the room and asked, “Mrs. Jones, do you know the defense attorney sitting over across the room over there?”

She again replied, “Yes I do. I’ve known him since he was a youngster too.  He’s lazy, bigoted and he has a drinking problem. He can’t build a normal relationship with anyone and his law practice is one of the worst in the entire state. Not to mention he cheated on his wife with three different women. One of them was even your wife. Yes, I know him.”  The defense attorney nearly died with embarrassment as the court room once again totally filled with laughter.

Suddenly the judge quickly asked both counselors to approach the bench and, in a very quiet voice, said, “If either of you idiots asks her if she knows me, I’ll send you both to the electric chair.”

Well, What Effect Does Your Life Have On Others Around You?  Is the life that you’re living worth the price that He paid?  Can others see Christ in your daily walk or lifestyle?  Or you walking the walk or just talking the talk?

In Matthew 5:13 NIV Jesus said to his disciples,“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again?  It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.”

Since ancient times, salt has been an important and integral part in the daily lives of many different races and cultures of people. While the history of salt is broad ranging and often unique, no one could ever deny it power or influence in our world.

Salt in the form of a tiny white grain may disappear when boiled in hot water, but its power or influence does not cease to exist.  Once you taste the water, you’ll be reminded of its presence, influence and authority.

The Lord, in making this analogy, is saying that the only hope, remedy or cure for mankind is the genuine active Christian character and godly principles of born-again spirit-filled believers in fellowship with God.  The outward living of the indwelling Holy Spirit is meant to have a definite impact and effect upon the rest of the world.

But then our Lord told his disciples that if it becomes tasteless and loses its ability to preserve, it then becomes useless, ineffective and unprofitable and should be tossed into the streets.

True Living Christianity is the only “salt of the earth,” which alone can withstand, resist and yet have power over all the corruption today.  But the salt must remain powerful in order to be influential and effective.  For what else can take its place?   So, let your light shine that others may see Christ in you and glorify God.

THEREFORE, HAVE FAITH IN GOD!
