Are You Trusting Christ No Matter How Impossible It May Seem?”

As we suffer the effects of a fallen world, the attacks against believers are growing stronger as Satan continues to try to discourage Christians in an attempt to prevent our various acts of faith.

As troubles may seem unending and we often may grow weary, at the very core of our hearts is our expectancy of God’s divine intervention, miraculous grace and even the hope of His soon return.   But until then, you must have the confidence that whatever adverse circumstance, negative situation, painful condition or demonic activity you’re facing, your struggle is under His authority and He’s orchestrating in your affairs for His glory and your best.

Having experienced a great parade of heart-wrenching attacks in my own personal life over the many years, I have continually gone back to the  Holy Scriptures for answers, insight, help, assurance and strength.

In Exodus chapter 14, we read the familiar story of God leading Moses and the Israelites out of Egypt.  God was leading Moses by a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night.

As they came to the banks of The Red Sea, Pharaoh and his army were in hot pursuit of them.  Fear gripped the Israelites’ hearts and they began to complain unto Moses.  Moses, seeing the rapidly approaching enemy, told the people, “The Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again.  The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”

Moses, then following God’s instructions, lifted his staff over the waters of The Red Sea and they divided.  But notice God’s next move:  The pillar that had been leading them suddenly moved to their rear and was now protecting them, keeping the attacking army back from conquering them.  While the pillar continued to provide light to Moses and the Israelites, it provided an impassable thick darkness to Pharaoh and his army.

All of the adverse circumstances were fully “UNDER GOD’S CONTROL AND AUTHORITY.”  Throughout that entire night, Moses and the Israelites walked through the parted waters of The Red Sea on totally dry ground until they reached the other side.  Then “the angel of The Lord” who was “The Pre-Incarnate Jesus Christ Himself” as the pillar of fire removed so Pharaoh and his army could then pursue Israel into The Red Sea where they all met their destruction.

The Word of God is our compass or guide towards piercing through, overcoming and breaking out of any difficult circumstance through maintaining faith in Christ and listen to the voice of The Holy Spirit of God.

Will you continue to trust Him even if you can’t see or don’t understand what He’s doing?  He has your best interest in His heart.
