“What’s The Secret Towards Living A Fulfilled Life?”

Today’s Daily Devotional from Pastor Andrew Bills

What’s The Secret Towards Living A Fulfilled Life?”

Have you experienced disappointments that have left you drained?  Have some of your expectations gone unfulfilled or unrealized?   Instead of having a rich and deep fellowship with The Lord, has your joy become faint, weak or non-existent?

Then the answer is very simple because God’s remedy or cure towards living a full and complete life can be found in the following insightful and victorious words expressed directly from The Lord.

Jesus said in John 15: 4-7:  “Abide in Me, and I in you.  As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned.  If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.”

While many have read, and even quoted, this amazing passage of scripture, especially the beautiful promise of Jesus given in verse 7, many still do not understand the true meaning and the wonderful blessings of “Abiding In Christ.”

While the dictionary defines the word “Abide” as to: remain, continue, reside, sustain, submit to, to act in accord with, to be faithful to or to steadfast with, it simply means to fully LIVE IN.”

The words of Christ are not to just be occasionally looked upon or merely recalled.  His promise is predicated upon His words being engrafted in your heart and “MADE ALIVE IN  YOU.”  “Abiding In Christ” is a marvelous ongoing experience or lifestyle which is just a foretaste of God’s Divine Eternal Glory.

“Abiding In Christ” is not quick sprint or a short-lived emotional feeling.  It is not a Sunday morning special emotional charge or fix that you get before you prepare to return to the mundane or routine duties of your other regular weekly activities.  “Abiding In Christ” is even much more than just having a local church membership.

Christ gives us His assurance that if you want your prayers to be heard and answered then you first must permit or allow His word, His doctrine, His principles and His Spirit to be our wisdom, control our conduct, guide our affections and regulate our lives.

“Abiding in Christ” is an unbroken, highly cherished, awesome communion with our Savior and Lord.   It is a loving, faithful, compassionate and intimate fellowship in your relationship with Christ.  It’s an exciting LIFE IN THE SPIRIT,” walking in His Grace, standing on His word, a priceless bond between Christ and you, in which you have been given special access unto God.  It’s there you’ll hear, be led by His Holy Spirit and experience “joy unspeakable and the peace that passes all understanding.”

It is there you’ll find your needed direction, guidance, strength, and solutions to your problems.  It is here that you’ll find God’s comfort, encouragement and love.

To “Abide In Christ” is to be made one with Christ, as He Is One With The Father.  (Read John 17:22).   Only “Abiding In Christ” brings peace to the troubled mind, joy to the wounded soul and rest to a troubled or stressed out heart.

“To Abide In Christ” is God’s personal invitation to you to enter into His presence and partake with Christ in all the majesty and glory of His royal life.

Will you accept His amazing offer and totally rest in His Everlasting Arms?

“Are You Living Under Gods Grace Or Sitting On Death Row?”

Today’s Daily Devotional from Pastor Andrew Bills

Are You Living Under Gods Grace Or Sitting On Death Row?”

“Are You Aware That It’s All Coming Up Again?”  One may not know how or when, but there is coming a time when your eternal soul shall be separated from your physical or mortal body through death.

So, have You Made The Right Preparations To Meet Him?

Hebrews 9:27 says, “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.“  Death simply means “to be separated from.”   Physical death separates the soul from the body and spiritual death separates your soul eternally from God, if you died outside of Christ.

There are no exceptions made because of your accomplishments, rank, beauty, talent, patriotism, wisdom or financial success.   There is no hope of reprieve and none shall escape.

While we are all under the sentence of death,Have you made right preparations for it?”

For after death you cannot come back and do what you forgot or neglected to do.  You cannot return back and ask God’s forgiveness for your sins that in this world you refused to do.  Nor can you return and correct the evil deeds that you once performed.

As believers in Christ, we have the wonderful assurance we shall never walk through that valley alone, but rather will be escorted through that dark passage by God’s Holy Angels, directly into the very presence of our Living Lord and forever be with Him.

However, the unbelievers, those who neglected or rejected Christ, when they pass into eternity, their destiny will also be made known to them with a final interview before The Lord at The Great White Throne, where their doom will be pronounced and delivered for all eternity. (Read Revelation Chapter 20)

Millions today are living their lives in bondage to sin, fear and unbelief, and have excepted it as their normal way of life.  Whether they want to believe it or not, they’re now living on death row and are being victimized and held prisoners by Satan and the forces of darkness.

But Christ has come to set them free, give them life and life more abundantly.  Many don’t have a single clue as to what they’re missing, which is “Life In The Spirit Of God And Walking Under His Grace.”

Grace from God is offered and meant to be received as a free gift through faith in Jesus Christ.  When you live under God’s grace, you’ll begin to awaken to the new life of Christ within you, the magnificence of His wonderful fellowship and the freedom that you now have through Him.

There is no other way to be pardoned from sin or set-free from the powers of darkness than through accepting  the sacrifice of Jesus Christ upon the cross and believing in His Resurrection.

Nothing can deliver a sinner from death row and from being condemned on the day of judgment except the atoning blood sacrifice of Christ.  No one will be saved from eternal punishment in the lake of fire who despises, neglects or rejects so great a salvation.

While salvation is free, “It Certainly Didn’t Come Cheap.”  God had our best interests in His heart when He sent Jesus to die for our sins.  Christ took our sins upon himself and bore them on the cross.  He was made sin for us which means that He took our place so that we could become righteous or have right standing with God.

When people deny and continue to reject Jesus, they continue to remain in bondage to sin and live on death row awaiting their execution.

One day He shall return as The Judge of glory. Have You Made The Right Preparations To Meet Him?

“Has The Devil Ever Told You That God Doesn’t Care About You Anymore?”

Today’s Daily Devotional from Pastor Andrew Bills

 stressed beyond measure

Has The Devil Ever Told You That God Doesn’t Care About You Anymore?”

Are you aware that the life span of any satanic or fleshly though is only determined by the amount of personal attention you give to it?   As you reflect, ponder, rehearse, nurture or continually bring it up, are you aware that the enemy only continues to bring false accusations against God, condemning indictments personally against you and enticing temptations to you to defeat and destroy you?

It’s during these times when Satan is attacking your faith, these delusions can only be withstood, resisted and overcome by The Spirit of God, The Word of God and by the blood of Jesus Christ.  For they alone stand between you and destruction as the devil attempts to distract your thinking.

In II Corinthians 10:5 NIV says we are instructed to, “demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

Also in Ephesian 6:16, the Apostle Paul also instructed us “to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.”  To quench simply means to extinguish or to put out the fire.  This is done by ceasing to give attention to that demonic or fleshly though that is attempting to take you prisoner and hold you captive.

The devil and your flesh detest carnal thoughts being ignored because if you allow them to flourish, by entertaining the possibilities, they’re directing you to a complete train wreck.

Hopeless people often become harmful people because discouragement and desperation can give birth to uncertain or dangerous behavior and that’s what the devil wants you to experience.

Don’t allow the devil’s implants or lying thoughts to control or influence your mind.  Don’t permit him to paint a vivid picture of doom and gloom right before your eyes.

The casting down of any carnal reasoning, ungodly though or demonic conflict is a complete decision of your will as you submit to the will of God.  The battle is won whenever you do so.

Submitting to God will give you the power you need to overcome every obstacle throughout your life, one day at a time and one battle at a time.  A continual surrendering to God will prevent a sudden collapse from walking with God, which will lead to you experiencing greater agony in your physical, mental, spiritual, financial, family and emotional state.

So, no matter how feeble and weak the enemy may try to tell you that you are, believers are mighty through God and the preaching of the gospel by people of faith and prayer have always brought defeat to the forces of wickedness and darkness.

Believers are always standing on the very brink of an imminent blessing through faith in Christ Jesus.  Allow your faith to arise to a brand new level.  Continue to believe God for your salvation, deliverance, breakthrough and victory over every hard time, adverse condition, demonic activity, painful state, negative circumstance, sinful habit, past mistake, damnable situation and satanic entrapment in the mighty precious name of Jesus Christ.

Allow The Holy Spirit of God to reveal and change the channel of your mind to realize that there’s “Nothing impossible with God.”
